The terms and conditions set out below for national and international transport, special transport, distribution, and project transport shall apply unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any complaints must be submitted in writing no later than 5 days after the time of delivery.
All tasks are carried out in accordance with AKV97 as well as the CMR Convention and the General Conditions of the Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders (NSAB 2000), which limit our liability for loss or deterioration of the goods to SDR 8.33 per kg of gross weight and, in the case of delay, to a maximum of up to the freight amount; max. SDR 50,000.00 per order. Special attention is drawn to § 28, which states that claims become time-barred after one year, and that the lien under § 14 covers both current and previous assignments. Claims for freight and agreed additional costs must be honoured regardless of the delivery terms of the commercial agreement in accordance with § 11. If additional insurance coverage is required, supplementary insurance can be taken out in accordance with the provisions set out below, subject to a written agreement prior to the commencement of transport.
The offer includes insurance of the goods throughout the entire transport, including loading and unloading, or per assignment up to a maximum of coverage of DKK 5 million per load. If additional insurance is required, this must be communicated before loading. We can arrange insurance coverage regardless of the amount. The insurance coverage applies from the moment loading is initiated by Stokholm Transport A/S and ceases once the goods are placed at the recipient’s disposal upon completion of unloading.
